Safeguarding Commitment

At ADHD-Plus, protecting the safety and wellbeing of clients is a core priority. Harm or abuse — whether physical, sexual, emotional, financial, or through neglect or bullying — can have a severe impact on mental health. As part of every assessment and treatment process, clients are encouraged to raise any safeguarding concerns they may have.

When there is reason to believe a vulnerable adult, child, or young person is at risk, ADHD-Plus works with local safeguarding services to ensure protection from harm. This includes linking with the appropriate Safeguarding Children or Safeguarding Adults teams in the client’s area.

If you or someone you know is at risk:

1. Contact your local council and request safeguarding services.
2. If there is an immediate danger, call Police – 999.
